project overview
This project explores memory as a dynamic and fragmented process through a 3D animation. Using LiDAR-based 3D scans of personally meaningful spaces, the work translates memories into spatial fragments that are visually connected and transformed over time.
Through camera movement, particle simulations, and abstract transitions, processes such as remembering, forgetting, and reconstruction are represented in a non-narrative, dreamlike visual language.
The animation was developed for large-scale LED screens and combines scanned environments, fragmentation, and spatial composition to visualize memory as a living, constantly changing network rather than a fixed archive.

Designed for the Metro City Screen in Shanghai, a large-scale spherical LED display, the project focuses on creating an immersive spatial experience while addressing the visual distortions caused by the curved LED surface.
