project overview
The Karotte Planter is a convertible 3D-printed object combining a planter and a tray, with the tray also functioning as a stool. Designed for easy 3D printing, it is composed of two separate parts: the main planter and the multipurpose tray, which can additionally serve as a hanging system. The default color scheme—orange planter and green tray—evokes a playful carrot look, though alternative colorways can also create cool variations. The design is intended as a versatile, functional object that integrates smoothly into any home environment.

How to build:
The Carrot Planter is designed for easy 3D printing and comes with two models: the main planter and a base that can be used either as a drip tray or as a small stand.
The planter is available in two sizes — regular and tall:
Regular: 15.5 cm wide, 9.6 cm high (assembled)
Tall: 15.5 cm wide, 13.3 cm high (assembled)
Feel free to scale the models up or down to suit your needs. All variations are included in the .stl files.
I recommend using matte PLA for a smooth surface finish.
There are two options for creating the hanging version. When printing the base for the hanging planter, make sure to use sufficient infill and wall thickness to ensure strength.
Version 1:
Features 6 mm holes at the top of the base for attaching a rope.
Required: rope only
Version 2:
Includes top holes designed for M4 eye bolts (10–20 mm).
Required: 4× M4 eye bolts (10–20 mm) and rope
